The XD-S Single Stack from Springfield Armory has forever changed what you can expect out of your daily carry pistol. The shockingly slim XD-S has a short, sub-compact style polymer frame with a grip width of 0.9" and includes two interchangeable backstraps for a perfect fit. It has a dual spring recoil system with full length guide rod, and the hammer-forged steel barrel is melonite-coated for greater wear resistance and protection. The fiber optic front sight and steel dovetail rear sight align quickly and provide a clear sight picture for accurate shooting. The XD-S 40 S&W has a 1:10" twist. It includes both a 6-round flush-fit magazine and a 7-round with Mid-Mag X-Tension. This model has a 3.3" barrel, and a two-tone finish with a stainless steel slide and black polymer grip/frame.
