This long AK47 bottom rail offers a comfortable and sleek replacement of the standard wood or plastic handguards for AK-type rifles and requires no gunsmithing. The handguard extends by 7 inches past the standard AK handguards allowing for more shooting stance options, and the 3 inches of Picatinny rail provides space for optics and accessories. The low profile of the rail will allow co-witness with various optics. The cooling holes allow the rail to run cool, even after extended firing. The cooling holes also allow the use of Troy Rail Sections for additional versatility and are compatible with Squid Grips. The rail is machined from hardened aircraft aluminum with stainless steel components and finished in black MIL-SPEC hardcoat anodizing. The handguard is designed to be used with both stamped and milled receiver AKs which use a standard length handguard and the sling mount on the handguard retaining band. The Bottom Rail will work with factory gas tube/top handguard.
